Batcave

1. Two Japanese Micro Man Batman toys. One if normal Batman looking while the other is very anime/mecha. 2. From the second series of DC Direct Batman/Superman line. 3. Batman and Superman from brand new Justice League line and a Superman from a new line based off the Super Friends TV show! Looks very cool. Only had Superman so I will need to look for the rest. Part 2 is coming. I am posting this from my mobile phone so limited to 300k per message. :)

Today was a blast. The booths were cool, soooooooooo many toys. The costumes were great. And the people were cool. It is nice to be totally surrounded by fellow geeks and freaks every now and then. What is even funnier is that we know this guy. Alastria sold him a computer years ago. Then we kept running into him at renaissance fairs. And then what do you know... This tie fighter pilot walks up to us and pulls off his helmet... hehe. So we hung out with the Star Wars crew for a bit at the end of the day. Pretty fun guys. After the con we got some snacky food and headed back to the hotel to play with our loots. (I'll post pics later. Light is already out and so is Alastria. lol) Tomorrow I think we will head back to the con and see if any of the booths restocked anything then we're off to the zoo! Night all. ;)

Forgot I'd taken a picture of this guy. We ate at the Rainforest Café last night and got to sit by one of the large salt water tanks. This little guy spent the entire time staring at me. He would swim up or down abit but would always come back to about head level and nose up against the side of the tank. I think he wanted my chese stick...

This place is huge. Kinda like having 50 comic and collectable shops all crammed in one place. I don't know most of the comic artists here, haven't kept up on that much the last few years. Checkov and R2D2 are supposed to be here at some point this weekend.

I guess I never actually mentioned that we were going to KC or why. We are actually here for Planet Comic Con. http://www.planetcomicon.com/ Figure we'll hit the comic con for a day or two then maybe hit the zoo before we head home. Stay tuned for details. :) Oh and how cool is it that we get to watch the first episode of the final season of Battle Star Galactica!! Would never get to do this at home.

We made it to KC around 14:00 today. We reserved our hotel room then ran around and did a little shopping. We are currently topping off the evening with dinner in Zangarmarsh... ;)

Nice to see that what is left of the busted trees on campus are starting to bloom. Smells good too. :) Stupid ice storms...

Wow. It just arrived! The VP over Computer Services had some one-time monies so those of us that never had a new chair got to choose one from 4 different modles. They took 3 months to get here but still. Very nice chair. Would love one for home but I would need to take out a second mortgage to afford it...

Awsome news on the work front. We just had our first quicksand pit installed on campus! This will be great for when the new freshman get here... Oh and for the campus tour guides that always walk backwards... ;)
